Notes

General Note
"Art does not require a clear-cut meaning in order to be understood. The work often begins as a single idea and branches out in several direction, changing as it develops. As humans we're expected to do the impossible, define ourselves and everything that surrounds us. If we can characterize something, we will be able to understand it, but in doing so our perception becomes limited. This series bere you consists entriely of words and phrases, most of which aren't relative to the the work itself. The idea lies in the process, allowing the letterforms within the composition to fill the space in such a way that they become more than just words. The way that these letterforms have been obscured forces the viewer to focus on how the shapes and colors interact, rather than on meaning alone."
